Nobody can deny that winter is upon us and I, for one, am certainly not ready for cold weather. You would think that being from Chicago I’d embrace cold, windy weather but living in Maryland has turned me against those brutal temps. The best way to beat the winter weather is to layer up using pieces from your spring and summer wardrobe paired with one warming element from your winter stash. I love wearing a button up shirt under a sweater with a puffy vest and a blazer. Another fave option is a summer dress (perhaps florals?) topped with a chunky sweater and fur vest, paired with tights, over the knee socks and tall boots. Layering your pieces are bound to keep you warm through the cold winter days. A little bonus with layering is you get to wear some of your favorite pieces at same time!!!
