“Start spreadin’ the news… I’m leaving’ today.” That song has been stuck in my head ever since I woke up this morning!!! (which, btw, was at 5AM… like a little kid on Christmas morning). We have some amazing things planned!! We’re going to celebrate my MIL’s & my husband’s birthdays. What am I most excited about? Well after a week of trying to decide where to have our big celebratory dinner my husband got the most genius idea–to tour NYC on foot hitting as many food network restaurants as possible. And we’re not talking’ the restaurants of famous chefs here–we’re talking the delicious ‘Best Thing I Ever Ate’ type places. We have a list… and a map.. and an app! (But I’m certainly open to more suggestions!!) I’ll have some NYC packing inspirations to post soon!!

I was in the city last weekend and had dinner at Abe & Arthur’s in the Meatpacking District. It may be a little more on the trendy side but if you are looking for something different, I can promise that the food and atmosphere will definitely not disappoint!
