As much as I love marriage–sometimes I feel that way!!!
My husband is about as “guy” as they get. He voices the impracticality of white furniture, he’s (appropriately) against DIYing a stripe wall in the apartment we’re renting and he won’t allow allow me to justify a splurge on window treatments because they’re too expensive for, well, an apartment we’re just renting. All totally valid points. All totally disappointing to my inner design darling who wants nothing more than to drench my home in white decor with mirror accents, chevron touches and pink flowers.
To quench this side of me, I LOVE browsing the interiors of some of my favorite bloggers. Of course the ever-stylish Jen Ramos always has gorgeous inspirations and I was so exited to see Monika’s home featured on Glitter Guide a few weeks ago. Gorgeous right!?
Anyone one else ever feel this way?? Renter or not, here’s a few touches I’d totally add to my home… if I didn’t live with a boy. I’d definitely….

I know what you are going through ;). I think the white everywhere is probably still one of the simplest tasks to do, and maybe the flowers – I don`t think they`d really mind.
The pink chairs could be a greater problem.
I do however also like a stylish masculine style, a lot. For me Carrie`s and Mr Big`s apartment in the Sex and the City 2 movie was masculine/feminine perfection.
I love this post as I was literally JUST (2 mins ago) venting to my sister that I’d love to do so many things to my house but my DUDE hubby isn’t into it unless it adds to the selling value of the house. BORING!! I want to paint walls black and buy pink furniture!!!
