I was so excited to post about this matter on my company’s blog that I completely neglected to give it the due WS love. If you haven’t already, please watch the video and order your Action Kit. As I wrote on my work blog, this movement is so much larger than just arresting a dangerous criminal. Obviously it’s very much about that… but it comes with a very powerful message– that using the tools we have at our finger tips daily, we can spread the word about injustices around the world and STOP them.
I’ve read a lot of backlash on other blogs and it’s so disheartening. What I didn’t have the liberty to say on my company’s site is that for those that argue our country’s position on this matter–or for those of you that argue this happens in more places than we’re aware of and therefore this matter deserves little attention– I say… really???? Seriously???? (well, that’s the PG version).
This does happen in other parts of the world. And yes, this is just one criminal on the long list of the world’s most wanted. But it starts with one. Never in the history of the world have we had the TOOLS and the POWER of social media to spread the word of grotesque behavior. Now we do. Use it.
