So this is a trend I’ve really been shying away from. I’m only 5’2″. And as anyone under 5’4″-5’5″ will tell you, wearing shoes that cut off your leg line is generally not favorable. But screw that.. look how preeettyyy! The statement ankle strap trend is freakin’ hot and when styled correctly, anyone of any height will look nothing less than stunning! If you are worried about the leg cut off, go with a nude or brown pair like these. Plus look at how the girl in one of the inspirations below just strapped that business practically right over her white skinny jeans. Gorgeous! All the more reason to have your jeans hemmed just a hair above the ankle, no?
