So, I just learned a fun fact. Apparently, a fedora is defined as a hat made of soft felt that has a medium brim and lengthwise crease in the crown while a panama hat is, more simply, defined as a straw hat that is made in Ecuador. I guess we’ve relaxed these definitions a little because many of us refer to “straw fedoras” when perhaps we mean panama hats, boater hats or Chupalla hats… I’ve bored myself. But, nonetheless, I love topping off outfits with a straw hat, don’t you!?
