wardrobeSTYLE: Studded Denim Shorts

It’s no secret that I’m mildly obsessed with studded things. Studs do my favorite thing in the world!: make dainty and everyday clothes, bags and accessories look bad. ass. And as a gal who rides the “preppy” line, wearing pieces with studs are a great way for me to branch out a bit now and then! Because sometimes you just need some down and dirty fashionable pieces, right? Enter: studded denim shorts. I love that with a basic T and flat sandals studded denim shorts can look totally boho or rocker-chic (a description I don’t love using but in this case it works). But with a blazer and/or a more delicate fabric studded denim shorts add a twist to an otherwise girlie look. Etsy has some really great vintage denim shorts that crafty ones have whipped up, or you can try making your own using the DIY at the end of this post and the many many studs you can also find on Etsy!! {which I DO believe I might try this weekend!}
