If you live in the DC area, I hope you’re planning to attending the District Sample Sale this year!! Last year’s was a blast and I scored some seriously awesome pieces. The District Sample Sale is a charity event that happens twice a year in the D.C. area and, this year, all of our spending spree dollars will go to benefit the Sitar Arts Center, a great, local center that offers arts education for D.C. youth. And as a former vocal performance student who deeply DEEPLY values the arts education I was lucky enough to receive in my childhood, I couldn’t be more behind this cause!!! What feels better than shopping that does a lot of good?!
The shops that participate are hands-down my favorite in the city and four of them, Sassanova, Ginger, Urban Chic and Luna, have Bethesda locations in walking distance from my office sooooooo, kind of hoping to spot a few of the pieces I’ve been eye ballin on my lunch breaks!!!! (This Joie blouse from Ginger Boutique… please make a showing in a size S. Thanks.)
And while I’m crazy excited to shop it up, you’ll likely find me by the snack table because, as I’ve said before, one of my favorite things about ANY Brandlink DC event (the PR company whipping everyhting up) is the food… which we all know can be scarce at most fashion events. I mean check out the restaurants popping up there… DELISH! I’m such a fat girl at heart.
Get your tickets here and I hope to see you there!!!
