Could it be any colder? This is getting silly. The one piece I’ve been reaching for all week is my fur stole; it’s the perfect accessory to offer a super cozy feel to your look and its soooooooo warm. SO warm. As much as I still love my faux fur vests from last year and am still wearing the crap out of it, sometimes it’s a little much with my other layers. A faux fur stole, on the other hand, is totally the perfect marriage of form meets function. It keeps me super warm but doesn’t add any bulk under my coat. Here’s hoping for a snowy weekend so I can keep wearing mine! Do you have one yet?

I love reading your posts…love, love, love! However I am sick to my stomach that you would promote real fur. Have you done any research on what is done to animals to make these Fur Stoles? It is sickening and heart wrenching. I refuse to read your posts anymore if you promote people wearing real fur. Please, please, please do some research on the topic.
Faux is the way to go!! Please reconsider!

Youre so sweet and I so appreciate the sweet comments! I would never “promote” real fur and Im def sorry if it came off that way! At the same time, though, I wouldnt want to demonize a reader that might be comfortable with it, so I generally just try to ride the line, making no mention of either/or specifically. :) Re: the title and the mentions, though, blame Google! “fur stole” gets double the Google searches as “faux fur stole”… mainly because I think the people searching assume they’ll stumble across primarily faux versions. Being an SEO junkie, I cant ignore the numbers! Hear you all the way though and will definitely make mention of it in the future. Thanks!!!! :) xoxoxox!
