YEP! While I still have TONS to learn, I’ve officially launched confetti-photography and I’m super eager to start booking more mini shoots in the DC area (cue the big explosion of celebratory confetti!!). I’m also going to start working with local pros for a new series I’m launching called ‘Snap Shots with a DC Photographer’ which should be so much fun for both me and you. Coming up first in the month of February is one of my favorite DC photographers, Peter Bang! I know so many of you are interested in learning simple and easy photography tips, so it’ll be fun to share now and then. More details after the jump!
This will not become a photography blog–I promise! But so many of you have been so incredibly supportive throughout my little photography adventures — and I’m truthfully not sure I would have had the courage to move forward without that support — so I wanted to share the official launch of confetti-photography and also say THANK YOU for giving me the courage to go for it! Means the world. And a special thank you to Danielle of UrbanWall and Stephanie of Lulu and Drew. You know how sometimes you just need the right logo, the right colors, the right quote-unquote vision for something to spark? Well, I needed the name. I couldn’t envision my photography as a business or a future print shop (yes, that’s coming too) until I had the right name. Then one night as I was brushing my teeth, lost in thought over the perfect name, I looked up and saw the Lulu and Drew painting by Stephanie that was so generously gifted to me by Danielle and BAM!!!! It hit me like a ton of bricks. Confetti. The perfect sentiment for anything being photographed, right? Thanks, ladies.
See you all tomorrow for a little taste of my favorite monochromatic looks!!! Such a fun winter look.

Yay! Congrats, love!
XO, Alison
