Leopard print is a pattern that, I think we all can agree, has earned itself the honor of being a neutral. It can be worn with almost anything, right? Think about it. Leopard print looks crisp and chic paired with all black, fun and playful with solid pops of color, and it can even be worn with stripes and polka dots when mixing prints in a creative way. And, hello winter, you can now wear this versatile, often-oh-so-soft print on your winter coat! Suddenly, your entire winter wardrobe will be transformed from dark and drab, to playful and posh. There is such a wide variety of leopard coats out there this season and so many different ways to style them. Luckily, my favorite option just so happens to be from Target and is only $60!

The Polka dot blouse is a lady of convenience’s best friend for many reasons. Most notably, it can take your look from day to night in no time at all! Wear it under a blazer paired with some fitted cropped pants and flats at the office, then sass it up for a happy hour or dinner with friends by taking off the blazer, rolling up the sleeves of the blouse, and slipping on sexy heels and a chunky necklace.
A polka dot blouse can also help you transition through the summer to fall wardrobe changes quite effortlessly. Now is the time to wear a dotted top with some bright colored shorts and killer sandals, but as we move into the fall months we can start to add a few more layers to the same top. Try a vest or a cardigan layered on top of the blouse with a pair of jeans and loafers, or tuck it into your favorite fall skirt and pair it with some tights and boots. There are so many different ways to style a polka dot blouse and it is without a doubt an item that will perk up your wardrobe any time of the year!

We have had our fair share of denim jackets, vests, and shorts this summer, but how about the denim dress? A great alternative to the floral sundress or T shirt and shorts, the denim dress is an edgier, more structured way to “do casual.” The chic shirt-style dress is perfect to throw on for a casual day of shopping or to meet friends for lunch, while the more fitted silhouettes are just sassy enough to wear for an evening out with a great pair of chunky heels. Stock up on your favorite styles now, because this is a trend that I have a feeling will transition perfectly into fall when worn with layers and tights!!!! (Did we just all get excited for fall??!!)

Definitely not a look for the wallflower, printed silk pants are a bold statement piece that will never let you blend into a crowd even if you wanted to. The wide leg, flowing silhouette of these seventies-inspired pants are a perfect alternate to the maxi dress or skirt that give your look just that extra bit of edge and interest that we always seem to be looking for. They come in floral patterns, geometric patters, and often even mimic patterns of those found on vintage scarves (those ones are my favorite)!
Be cautious though – these pants can too easily cross that line of looking as though you just rolled out of bed, so pair them with structured, solid pieces such as a fitted cropped top, a blazer, or a simple pair of platforms or wedges. Will you be jumping on the trend-wagon with this one?! If so, we would love to know how you are pulling it off!

The Hi Low skirt (or the “mullet skirt” as some like to call it) is the business in the front, party in the back, edgy alternative to the maxi skirt. It is a bold look to pursue; however, when styled correctly you will be turning heads everywhere you go. These uneven hemmed skirts look best worn with a heel, preferably a wedge or a platform sandal, and a fitted top, either cropped or tucked in. These images below give us quite a variety of looks to use as inspiration. I found this great polka dot Hi-Low skirt at Forever21 that I wore with a low back black tank top and black wedges! Have you bought into this trend yet?

I bought a black pair of lace shorts at Zara back in December that I wore the heck out of with tights and boots, but now since the weather is warming up I am definitely in the market for a white pair. They are girly, fresh, fun, and allow for so many different styling options. I am thinking a denim button up and some camel wedges for a casual afternoon? Or perhaps chiffon coral top and some dainty flats for brunch with friends. How will you be wearing your lace shorts this season?
