It’s no secret that I love spray paint. I genuinely believe there’s nothing a can of spray paint can’t fix, glam up or brighten. From adding some flair to a simple white bowl to making chalkboards out of old refrigerator magnets, I’ve always believed a can of spray paint is the answer to any project. I’ve loved having a more simplified system, using nothing more than the J.Crew Magic Wallet, but really it’s getting old. Truthfully, I miss having a larger wallet that I can toss receipts and change into and be on my way. That’s the real value of a zip wallet, if you ask me—the ability to toss, zip and go. Guys(!!!!!!!), next weekend is Memorial Day weekend!!! Who’s beach ready? I’ve been beach ready for weeks, as you know. And even though I *technically* just returned from the beach, I can’t wait to head to the Eastern Shore for Memorial Day weekend, as we do every year. I can already smell the not-so-fresh ‘Ocean Sh*tty’ and Dewey Beach air. Smells like home. Happy Friday!
Working with bareMinerals to run my first half marathon was seriously such a dream. They could not have been more amazing and, hello!, I got to play with makeup while checking something off my bucket list!!!
I’ve been having a blast testing several of their newer products, but in the last few weeks I’ve been paying close attention to the pieces I reach for most frequently so that I could give you an accurate rundown of my daily makeup regimen. As you can see, I tend to keep it pretty neutral. I rarely play with eyeshadows and I’m still too chicken to get crazy with lip color (no you don’t understand, I look ridiculous with lipstick on), so this regimen is perfect for creating an easy, everyday look. And a couple people asked about Well-Rested when I instagrammed it and, yes, I love it!!! It just brightens everything around the eye—total life-saver. As for the cheek color, I like to brush just a little bit of The Confession in the contours of the cheek, then dust just a touch of Aphrodisiac closer to the cheekbone; it creates a bit of a boho, naturally sun-kissed look.
