Hey there, beautiful whippedSTYLE readers! It’s Lara from the glossarie. back to fill you in on all the pretty from the month of February. This month I was loving extra clear skin, lots of pink, bold lashes, and one sexy scent. Who’s ready for spring?!

1. Kicking it off with one for the men, new Spicebomb from Viktor & Rolf is crazy delicious. Pink pepper, cinnamon, tobacco, chile, saffron, grapefruit, and leather mix together to create quite the cocktail.
2. I got real honest about my skincare troubles on the blog this month and rounding out my top shelf picks for fighting acne is Kate Somerville’s Eradikate. A dab on angry red spots before bed will leave you in disbelief when you awake to much-needed clarity in the morning.
3. If “Long Wear Liquid Lip Color” sounds like an oxymoron to you, then you haven’t met Stila’s stab at it yet. The formula wears like iron through countless glasses of champagne (or whatever your poison of preference may be) and doesn’t dry lips out. Caprice is the hottest pink on the market and not for the faint of heart.
4. New NARS blush in Gaiety has stolen my heart. It looks a little ferocious in the pan, but warms to skin with the slightest shine for a very pretty flush.
5. This beauty gadget is a must have! DiorShow’s Heat Curl is best used after you apply mascara to liquify and smooth out formula clumps while locking curl and shape in place.
So, what do you think? Will you be adding any of these lovelies to your beauty shopping list?

Hi my whippedSTYLE friends! It’s Lara from the glossarie here to chat with you about my favorite pretty products from the month of December. This time of year does a number on my skin, so most of these are what I deem to be the very best in winter skincare, with a little sparkle added into the mix, just for fun!

1. This is the sixth in a long line of lip treatments from Fresh. The Advanced Therapy version really amps up the damage control and hydration factor, making it the best of the bunch, in my opinion.
2. Aren’t these sparkly bobbies from Ban.Do to die for? The duo will run you $25 but is sure to be sheer perfection in your New Year’s Eve updo.
3. My hands are a mess this time of year, but I’ve stumbled upon a new-to-me hand cream from Soap & Glory that has put my palms at peace. It’s moisturizing sans grease, super softening, and quick drying. Oh – and did I mention it’s just $5?
4. I turn the big 3-0 this year and I have wasted no time adding the ultimate eye cream to my routine. This Turkish Rose & White Tea formula from Pangea Organics brightens and tightens without pumping unnecessary chemicals onto the delicate eye area. It’s a bit spendy at $55, but I’m ok splurging on something I use daily and that sits on my skin overnight.
5. Scrub a dub dub! Ole Henriksen has created a salt scrub that is gentle, but effective, and leaves you feeling clean. I’m in love with this lemongrass and lavender-scented tub of scrub – it’s a must for these frigid months ahead!
I hope these five faves will keep your skin looking glowy and gorgeous well into 2012, lovelies! A very happy new year to you!

Oh my goodness, it’s winter at whippedSTYLE! Time to talk beauty and dish specifically about the best of last month’s pretty picks in The Glossarie. Here are my favorite picks from November’s treasure trove of pretty.

1. These Colorburst Lip Butters from Revlon have rocked my lip world. At $7 a pop, they compete with high-end ‘sticks from the likes of Clinique, but they truly shine when it comes to hydration and color payoff. They are the first truly moisturizing lipsticks I’ve found and the shades are amazing!
2. Zoya’s Milla has stolen my heart with its holiday hipness. It’s red, glittery, all natural, and long wearing – quite possibly the one shade that can take you straight through to 2012!
3. Leave it to Prada to make me sway from my signature scent! Candy is all things warm and wonderful – think vanilla and caramel done in a smoky, sexy way.
4. This rose gold highlighter from Laura Mercier is super smooth and surprisingly natural. If you add one thing to your makeup bag this season, let it be this ultra versatile Rose Rendezvous – it will work wonders on cheeks, eyes, brow bones, and even decolletage, making you cocktail party ready in an instant.
5. Finally, this little lip balm is a true gem and don’t blame me if your guy tries to steal it. Molton Brown’s Vitamin Lipsaver is a winter must, both for your lips and the ones you want to kiss!

Happy Monday whippedSTYLE! It’s Lara from The Glossarie back to share October’s treasure trove of pretty. Click the links below to learn more about each product tugging at my heart strings and be sure to let me know what you think of this month’s fivesome!

1. The beauty brands celebrate Pinktober in a big way each year. My favorite of all the products giving back this month is Jane Iredale’s Roses & Lollipops – two best-selling lip colors in one sweet little keychain.
2. I had an opportunity to guest blog for Stila this month and share my can’t-live-without-it Brighten and Correct Concealer with their readers. It’s like a nap in a tube, and best of all? It comes in five shades for perfect color matching.
3. NARS ‘The Multiple’ in G-Spot is my go-to blush for fall. The berry tone flatters everyone and these ‘sticks look great on eyes and lids as well.
4. I am head over heels for the new Nicki Minaj for OPI collection launching in January! These two sparkle polishes are Metallic 4 Life and Save Me and the super bright half dozen will be just what our nails are needing this winter.
5. This teeny tiny tube of Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara is meant for your lower set, but I’ve been wearing it on top for some major length and staying power – at $10 it’s a must try.
Did you discover something that I missed this month? Do tell!
