Remember the awesome mouse pad we found in this post? Love it! But, ever the procrastinator, I still haven’t ordered it. So, obviously I was super excited to find a tutorial to just make it! So awesome. (I think I’ll do a pale pink or gold… thoughts?)
It’s no secret that I love spray paint. I genuinely believe there’s nothing a can of spray paint can’t fix, glam up or brighten. From adding some flair to a simple white bowl to making chalkboards out of old refrigerator magnets, I’ve always believed a can of spray paint is the answer to any project. Check out a few of these awesome DIYs that you can do with just a roll of tape and a can of spray paint! I so never thought of adding a vibrant touch of color to folding chairs or a layer of shimmer to my hangers, but both add such a perfectly pretty twist, don’t you think!? And business cards? Stop it. Leave it to Camille of Camille Styles to think of something so easy and so chic. What else can we spray paint……

You know what happens when it rains all weekend? I dream about warm summer days at the beach. Almost every gal I know agrees that when you spend a few days reading + sunbathing + playing in the ocean, you look and feel better than ever!!! And while we all love the fresh tan and rested look in our eyes, most of us agree that one of our favorite beach looks-by-default is the fun, messy, sea-salted-kissed locks we have after sun bathing all day. Lucky for us, a few of our fave hair care brands have made products that do an incredible job recreating that beach bombshell look! Below is a quick and easy guide to choosing the best product for your hair.
P.S. If you think the beachy hair potions can get too pricey, check out thisAWESOME tutorial for DIY beach spray. It’s a must-try!

If you’ve procrastinated getting a wand clampless curling iron–maybe waiting paid off! You can totally just repurpose your with-a-clamp curler! My aunt did this to her curling iron and when I saw it, it was definitely one of those, ‘why didn’t I think of that!?’ moments. Brillz. It doesn’t offer up a smaller barrel size at the end, but it still works beautifully! It’s so easy, I feel guilty even calling it a DIY.

This is actually a DIY that Sam posted last year, but I found a new purpose for it that I wanted to share with you all since I think it would make such a great and fun family project over the holidays!
So, no doubt these ornaments are adorable, but to add an extra layer of love, it might make a really nice tradition to start making these with your family this year, cutting the pieces of paper a little wider and then writing notes to one another on the pieces of paper.
Maybe you want to write, “thanks for stealing the Bose earphones I wanted in the dirty Santa, douche” or “I’ve never laughed as hard in my whole life as I did when you were imitating Leon the snowman during Elf last night.”
You get the idea! Have fun with it, make it heartfelt–or both!!! Then simply use a glitter pen to write your names on your ornaments then next year you can read them together and remember your favorite things about previous Christmases together!
Love it. This may be my new favorite tradition!
Happy Holidays!
You’ll Need:
A few clear ornaments | Colorful paper (3 different shades and texture of each color) | Scissors | Ribbon.
How To:
Cut the paper into thin strips | Wrap each one around your finger so they coil up | Drop them into the ornament until it’s completely full | Tie a ribbon around the top
Voila!!! Cute new ornaments + time spent with the fam. If you give this a try be sure to send us some pics!

I love short shorts for summer. They’re fun, care-free and oh-so-comfy. But let’s be honest, I’m a grown woman and I think it’s safe to say I’ve out grown the “booty short.” So what’s a gal to do?! Add a mini flap back! Grab your scissors + an old pair of jeans– here we go!
I love the washed out denim look for shorts so I used an old pair of jeans that I bleached last year. I basically followed the design of a pair of Zara shorts I recently got (the one’s I instagrammed here). They have a small slit and the back is just a tad longer than the front (which means no funny bulging when you sit down, wooohooo!)
Mark where you’d like the front and where you’d like the back. Also mark the inside, drawing a line across both legs.
Fold + repeat.
Cut the front first.
Find your line on the back and cut straight through, meeting the line you out on the inside.

I had so much fun trying out some nail polish tricks to spruce up my key identifiers! Why stick to one color, right!? And if my keys were getting a new make over, I certainly couldn’t leave out the largest key chain canvas of them all, my entry key fob.
