Dying over the Emerson Fry Spring launch!!! Have been meaning to share but apparently the response upon launch nearly crashed the site! I’m so so in love with this line, as you may remember from this post, and I have to say– the Emerson Fry spring 2013 collection certainly didn’t disappoint my expectations. This coat dress? Really? Could it be more dreamy? (and at that price–it is in fact in my dreams!! Whoa! But soooo gorgeous, right?)
If you’re not familiar with the site, their pieces are usually shown with other pieces in street style-esque fashion. Makes you really fall in love with everything at once, doesn’t it?!
Super excited to be participating in a campaign to spread the word about spring styles at Target! First up! Pastels. A favorite of mine! And can I just tell you–I had the most fun ever doing this post. The hubs likesto limit my alone-time with Target, so I haven’t been in lately to browse/impulse buy everything in sight (#oops). And after shopping the site for longer than I care to admit, I have to say I continue to be impressed! I’m in love with the spring pieces thus far and can you believe that EVERY SINGLE piece in this post is from Target?! The hubs was positive I mixed in a few higher-end pieces–and I did not.
I think the trick to pulling off pastels without looking too boring or, worse, like an easter egg, is to just have fun with other bold colors, textures and prints. I love even pairing a pastel yellow with neon yellow, or a pastel green (mint) with a bright cobalt blue–so fun. And so many steals right now!!! The houndstooth coat below–on sale for $20–true story and tons of sizes. What!? The black and white pattern is such a chic way to tie together a pastel piece paired with a super bold color. And some of my favorite pastel pieces from Target didn’t even make it into the outfits, which always upsets me a little. I mean how adorable is this little rain coat?! With pastel pink shorts? Some cute thong sandals and an April after-showers stroll on the boardwalk? Ill take it! Happy Friday!
It’s Time for Springtime!

I love this time of year. March is around the corner, daylight savings is in TWO WEEKS!!!!, and our favorite boutiques and brands are rolling out the creme de la creme of spring fashion. So this can really be considered a follow-up to my first spring 2013 wish list–and you can expect two more, for sure!!! So. Much. Delight. (I know, Im just as excited as you are). And obviously some of these pieces, like this ridiculously gorgeous bracelet, for example–OBSESSED, are in my dreams, you know? But I love dreaming.
Hope you all have an amazing Monday!

I’m pretty in love with the floral blazers we’ve been seeing, so expect a post of my favorite floral blazer looks this week!
Thick, thin, high, low, chunky or slender–we’ve all fallen head over stiletto heels in love with our cuffed jeans. Someone asked me the other day, “Can I cuff any jean for that cute cuffed-jean-and-boot or cuffed-jean-and-stiletto heel look?” No. You can’t. But close!!!! You can cuff almost any jean. The best move is to invest in some boyfriend jeans or some super cute and great-fitting skinny jeans that can be cuffed. The important thing is to watch how much fabric you have at your ankles. Also, you want them to be one of two things: pinned or tight. Some boyfriend jeans are loose enough to allow for a little unrolling–not okay, right? I’m actually taking a pair in to be permanently cuffed this weekend–over the random unrolling. Here’s a few of my favorite cuffed jean looks with some of the best jeans to accomplish the cuffed jeans look.
I have a tendency to procrastinate my shopping, which always leads to heartbreak. For example, I fell in LOVE with the Rag and Bone Harrow Boot, but waited because I wanted to see if I’d stumble across a bargain. When I finally found the best bargain ever, they didn’t have my size. Freaking story of my life! You all have heard me whine about this one too many times, right? But this spring I’m on it!! I can’t wait to spend an easy breezy spring day in denim cut offs, a white T shirt and a pair of super hot ankle booties with cut outs. LOVE! It’s like my spring/summer uniform. Here’s a few of my favorite picks for spring ankle booties.
Spotted this top on J.Crew the other day and INSTANTLY became hooked!! Love how it offers up just the right amount of pizazz to a basic, everyday piece. And it’s so versatile! Here’s three easy ways you can wear this blouse. Re the heels in the last outfit, they’re Alejandro Ingelmo Boomerang. I tried to find similar for less but, let’s be honest, nothing compares. I know. It’s sad.
