Versatile Verticals–say that 5 times fast. (oh.. it’s actually not that hard, nevermind)
I started seeing more and more bold, vertical stripes shirts and loved it–but now they seem to be few and far between! Hopefully I can scope out some more good ones because I think they make such an easy go-to piece for summer. I love how you can pair a more striking black and white stripe blouse with a dramatic heel for an ultra high-class look but wear a similar top with cut-offs, a fedora and gladiators for a more boho-meets-nautical feel. Those Rachel Zoe gladys down there? In love!

I spotted these images of Audrey Hepburn carrying an LV Speedy and instantly became enamoured. Such history. Such an iconic piece! How charming is it that a bag still carried and coveted by fashion-forward women today was once carried by the likes of Audrey Hepburn decades ago? It got me thinking…
Some designers have created pieces that actually help us define the word “classic.” They have created pieces that transcend generations and, though the times may change, the design of the item remains original. So I started thinking about other pieces that have solidified their place in history as an iconic fashion design and came up a few favorites. These items are now so iconic, they never have to change. And I hope they never do! But there are obviously tons—what else do you think deserves to be added to this list?
1. Louis Vuitton Speedy. Founded in Paris in 1854, Louis Vuitton quickly became famous for its LV monogram. First used for light-weight and air-tight trunks, the monogram was later lent to luggage and handbags and in the 1930′s, the Speedy was introduced. I spotted this necklace the other day on Bauble Bar and couldn’t hit ‘add to cart’ fast enough. I’ve been looking for a necklace like this ever since a good friend got a similar one; it’s such a glam, tribal-chic necklace and literally looks amazing with everything. But it also gave me the statement necklace bug! I started browsing for more amazing statement necklaces and I think I found some seriously breath-taking ones. These 5 necklaces are definitely ones that steal the show. LOVE!

Reigning for nearly four decades as the perfect go-to for a sexy summer look, denim shorts are hands-down the only summer staple you literally need. Need. And as much as I love classic cut-offs (especially the ones I made in this post and am wearing below), I’m now OBSESSED with these boyish throw-backs from Rebecca Taylor. They’re so fun, right!? In doing this post I found about 55 million denim shorts Im in love with so clearly a denim short round-up is a must. Stay tuned!

I spotted this striking vanity tray and display on Pinterest last night and immediately fell in love with how glam and girlie it was. It’s actually from Glitter Guide’s Style At Home with Amanda Dawbarn of 100 Layer Cake and the entire spread is just stunning—arguably one of my favorite Style at Home’s to date. But this image just captured that part of me that believes everything around me deserves a pretty container or display. And a display that channels old Hollywood glam using ornate frames is all the better to me. So I scoped out Etsy and found some great options for a super chic vanity tray. So excited.
