It’s a new month, and the unofficial start of the holiday season. I am so excited. The hubs and I have confirmed that we’re hosting Thanksgiving, so I’m beyond psyched that we get to spend the next few weeks planning dinner, decor and …dancing?! SURE! Extra points for alliteration. Also, at the start of this new month (holy crap, November?!), I’m excited take on a few more commitments…for the month. They’re short-term commitments:
One. Yoga three times a week. No exceptions. Here’s hoping it becomes a permeant habit. Keeping my accountable on this one is the Equinox app, and the shame I’ll feel if my calendar alerts me of my scheduled classes and I’m not there.
Two. Take one photo every day! Granted, I can’t keep the canon on me all day, every day, but I do always have my phone. So I’m doing Fat Mum Slim photo-a-day challenge on instagram. It’ll force me to take little breaks in my day to just open my mind, have fun and snap a cool pic. Who doesn’t need that?
Three. Run more. Yoga keeps me sane, calm and focused, but a good run is my happy place. To make sure I stick to this one, I registered for the Turkey Chase and I can’t wait! And I think my little sister is going to run it with me, which makes even more awesome.
